Kari Koskinen (CEO)

Kari has 20+ years of expertise in the field of transportation engineering, AI, product development and decades of hands on software development experience. As a former student and researcher of the Helsinki University of Technology, now Aalto University, he studied algorithms, traffic safety, simulation and software development. As part of his Master’s thesis he developed a Microscopic Simulator for Personal Rapid Transit (PRT) System, an automated public transport solution. Kari also studied at the Royal Institute of Technology (Stockholm), providing him with a unique perspective on the European Union’s leading-edge approach to transportation and mobility. In addition to the research and software development work completed in Helsinki and Stockholm Kari’s expertise also includes applying soft computing and AI traffic control to live traffic environments in Finland, Sweden, Ireland and the U.S.


Michael Rychlik (CTO)

Michael holds a B.Sc. degree in physics from the university of Essex. He has made a long career in different fields of engineering including embedded systems(GEC, Cossor electronics), software development (Zuken), telecommunications (Nokia, Nortel) and ITS (Peek Traffic, Swarco). The last 10 years Michael has been working in leading role with intelligent traffic solutions in Swarco (Omniview). Michael’s interests include software development, new sensor technologies, embedded systems and software/hardware interfaces.


Iisakki Kosonen Dr.Sc. (Eng) (CSO)

Iisakki’s background is in telecommunication (M.Sc.) and transportation engineering (PhD). He has a long experience in research, teaching and development of intelligent transport systems and traffic simulation. Currently he is working as scientist in the Aalto University (prev. Helsinki University of Technology), in the Spatial Planning and Transportation Engineering group. His previous affiliations involve Los Alamos National Laboratory (TRANSIMS), Nottingham Trent University (Real-time telemetry) and  Royal Institute of Technology (Transport and Logistics). He is also interested in smart infrastructures and the new mobility services including MaaS.
